Ballet is considered to be the Mother of Dance which develops excellent Placement, Technique, Tone, Strength, Structure and Flexibility of the Body. This class is essential for the well rounded Dancer and a requirement for Soloists.
Offered from Age 5.
This trendy fad based on street dancing combines today’s latest music and moves as seen in music videos. A fun and energetic class.
Offered from Age 7.
This form of dance involves stretching, isolations and combinations influenced by the contemporary styles and music of today.
Offered from Age 6.
A combination of Jazz and Ballet Classes.
Offered from Age 3-6.
Incorporating strong Ballet, Jazz and modern techniques. Lyrical dance is a fluid form of dance telling a story through movement and develops a strong sense of musicality.
Offered from the Intermediate to Advanced levels.
This class introduces the fundamentals to the very young. The child’s creativity, motor skills and confidence are developed while having fun.
Offered from Age 3-4. Weekday Afternoons.
Students must be selected by the teacher to begin Pointe work.
Offered to the intermediate and advanced students only.
Great source of motorskill development. As an audible dance form, Tap is effective in stimulating a natural sense of rhythm and beat.
Offered from Age 3.
A non-recital class – students will improve their flexibility, strength, Ballet and Jazz technique through leaps, turns, jumps and extensions. A great class for the competition dancer.
Offered from the Intermediate to Advanced levels.

Amy Lynn is the only teacher at the Dance Studio, making sure that each child receives the individual attention and training that they deserve. Our Studio offers classes that teach the understanding of the Art of Dance building Courage, Confidence, Discipline, Self-Esteem and Creativity. She is committed to providing a positive experience for all dancers whether it’s your first year or your tenth year.
EDUCATION: Amy Lynn holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance from the University of Buffalo and a Master’s Degree in Dance from SUNY Brockport 2021. She Graduated with Honors Magna Cum Laude.

- Appeared on the Weekend Today Show with Campbell Brown in the segment “What it takes to be a Radio City Rockette”.
- Served on a panel of judges for the Miss Maryland International Pageant.
- Served on a panel of judges for the Rochester Summer Dance Competition.
- Attends Teacher Workshops in New York City with the Rockettes, the Broadway Dance Center and The Dance Teacher Conference.
- Our Dance Studio has a Professional Stage Step Dance Floor for your child to dance on.
- All of our students perform in the annual June Recital which is held at Hilbert College Swan Auditorium.
- Students are invited to perform at the following recitals; the Holiday Christmas Show at Father Baker Manor Nursing Home and the Quaker Arts Festival.
Miss Amy’s dance studio is wonderful. My daughter danced here for 13 years. Amy Lynn not only taught my daughter to dance but she taught her about kindness to others and how to appreciate oneself and my daughter developed much of her confidence and self-esteem at the studio.
